LA CHAPELLE NOTRE-DAME DE LA GARDE

19th C chapel dedicated to the Virgin Mary, and built from materials carried
to the site by sailors. The chapel was destroyed in August 1942 and a new rebuilt in 1950.


LE “VIEUX” MARCHÉ

Originally the site of a farm, with pond,canal and little bridge, the square then became a market with wooden stalls.The town authorities made it into a
covered market in the 1920s and it is now home to boutiques.

MUSÉE NUNGESSER ET COLI

1960’s museum dedicated to the two first aviators who attempted the Atlantic
crossing in the 1920s. The first monument was destroyed in 1943.

LE CHÂTEAU LES AYGUES

Classified as an historic monument, the villa was built in 1866 and welcomed
guests such as Offenbach and Dumas.Once home to two Spanish queens, the château is now open to visitors and also for upmarket accommodation.
